ANTAVIA Named Authorized Repair Station for Héroux-Devtek Landing Gear

ANTAVIA,  a business of AMETEK MRO and a global provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for commercial and business aviation aircraft, has been awarded an Authorised Repair Centre (ARC) contract by Héroux-Devtek.  The agreement covers the repair and overhaul of Embraer Legacy and Embraer Praetor landing gear equipment across Europe.

Laurent Bouissou, DVP Business Manager at ANTAVIA stated: “ANTAVIA brings extensive experience supporting Héroux-Devtek designed landing gear, supported by strong engineering resources and comprehensive in-house capabilities including non-destructive testing, machining, surface treatment, and painting. This combination enables ANTAVIA to meet demanding turnaround and quality requirements expected by business jet operators”.

Marc-Olivier Gagnon, Vice President, Engineering & Product Support at Héroux-Devtek, added: “We are pleased to welcome ANTAVIA into Héroux-Devtek’s network of Authorised Repair Centres supporting the Embraer Praetor programme across Europe. ANTAVIA’s technical expertise, responsiveness, and established quality processes position it to support operators across the region.”

“This agreement expands ANTAVIA’s authorised landing gear repair capabilities and supports broader engagement within the business jet aviation market. It also reflects ongoing investment in tooling, engineering expertise, and infrastructure at ANTAVIA’s facilities in Paris and Campsas (Toulouse),” adds Bouissou.

As the aviation industry continues to manage ongoing supply chain concerns and increasing production costs, OEMs are looking for trusted and reliable MRO partners to support their product in the field and meet the extremely demanding requests of their MRO customers without disrupting their production lines. Forward-looking OEMs are therefore concentrating on their core competence (key component production for aircraft manufacturer assembly lines) and subcontracting MRO activities to specialised entities solely dedicated to satisfying the demand of operators.

Bouissou continues, “An ARC agreement is a strong tie between the component MRO, such as ANTAVIA, and the OEM - it demonstrates a high level of trust between both parties.”
