Antavia, a division of AMETEK MRO announces the continuation of its long-standing support for DHC waterbombers, a commitment that began in 2003 with the Bombardier Aircraft Amphibious Division and continued in 2017 with Viking Aircraft through a formal, factory-endorsed Component Centre agreement.
Over the past two decades, Antavia’s dedicated team has developed an efficient and specialized MRO programme, successfully returning over 2,500 waterbomber landing gear components to service from across four continents, nine countries, and seven Canadian provinces.
To further enhance its support of this critical aerial firefighting fleet, Antavia has invested more than €10 million in spare parts and continues to expand its inventory, significantly reducing turnaround times for essential landing gear components.
“Antavia’s commitment to this specialist aircraft type goes beyond a simple technical and financial interest,” said Laurent Bouissou, Divisional Vice President & General Manager of Antavia.
“Our team is proud to support the global aerial firefighting community and works closely with De Havilland Aircraft of Canada to ensure the fleet remains ready to perform its vital mission—protecting lives and communities from the ever-growing threat of wildfires.”
