Aventure Aviation has acquired a Boeing 737NG, MSN 32713, recently retired by WestJet Airlines. The teardown is currently underway in Marana, Arizona, by Jetyard. Parts will be relocated to Aventure’s Atlanta warehouse, making it the company’s third 737NG acquired in 2022.
Aventure is in active discussions with owners, financial institutions, lessors, and airlines to find revenue-generating teardown solutions for idle aircraft.
“Our growing list of teardowns has allowed us to develop operating procedures that ensure efficient handling of the entire process from start to finish,” said Sales Director Andrew Crombie. “With passenger numbers growing around the world and 737NG load factors continuing to outpace any other aircraft type, we are committed to building up a large inventory of tagged material to support our customers.”
