C Cubed Aerospace has reached another successful program milestone. In preparation for post-conversion flight testing of the C Cubed Airbus A320-200CCF, the highest containerized cargo narrowbody freighter in its class, C Cubed recently completed successful operational tests on the freighters’ main deck cargo door under aircraft power.
This achievement marks another step toward FAA certification of the company’s next-generation P2F conversion program. The successful demonstration validates key design, installation, and power integration elements of C Cubed Aerospace’s proprietary conversion solution.
“Operating the main deck cargo door under ship power is more than an engineering checkbox. It is a symbol of our commitment and perseverance in designing, building, certifying and producing a freighter-platform that fully delivers on modern operator needs.” said Michael McConnell, CEO of C Cubed Aerospace. “As we move closer toward certification, this milestone brings us one step closer to unlocking the transformational cargo capacity that our A320 and A321 conversions provide.”
