GA Telesis, LLC (“GAT”) announces a significant expansion to their inventory of Used Serviceable Material (USM) with the disassembly of two Boeing 767-300 aircraft. GAT’s Component Solutions team will manage the distribution of the USM from these aircraft, building on their reputation as the world’s leading independent aftermarket used serviceable material supplier.
GAT will distribute the materials to airline and MRO customers globally from its US and UK-based distribution centers. With e-commerce growing, the 767 airliner has become an excellent solution for delivering packages worldwide. This strategic acquisition will assist in expanding the group’s cargo jet airframe product lines supporting those specific operators.
“Our Component Solutions team continues to incorporate new product lines to support operators of all aviation sectors,” said Alex Tuttle, COO of Flight Solutions Group. “We continue to be the leader in global disassembly activity and plan to double our airframe USM availability in the next 18 months.”
“Our group continues to drive more product line expansion with an innovative, real-time data science approach to ensure our customers’ needs are satisfied,” said Jason Reed, President of Flight Solutions Group. “By providing airlines and MRO’s creative sale and lease choices to improve dispatch reliability while lowering their costs in the process provides a win-win solution to our customers’ post-COVID ramp-up globally.”
