Mammoth Freighters LLC (“Mammoth”), has announced that it has reached another major milestone in its 777 passenger-to-freighter conversion program with the completion of the door cutting on AviaAM Leasing’s first B777-300ER (MSN 35299). AviaAM Leasing, a subsidiary of the Avia Solutions Group, is the launch customer for the 777-300ERMF type, with an order of six conversions in total. Currently, Mammoth has two AviaAM Leasing B777-300ER aircraft on site at its modification partner facility, Aspire MRO, based in Fort Worth, Texas.

AviaAM Leasing has committed to a total of six Mammoth B777-300ERMF freighters. Mammoth recently successfully hung the Main Cargo Door on its B777-200LRMF. The aircraft is now having the cargo loading system installed, after which it will begin flight testing.
