Setna iO Acquires Former Qatar Airways A330-300 Airframe with CF6-80E Engines

Setna iO has acquired one Airbus A330-300 aircraft, most recently operated by Qatar Airways, fitted with two CF6-80E engines. The aircraft will be disassembled at ecube’s facility in Castellón, Spain, marking SETNA iO’s latest addition to its growing portfolio of inventory for the global aftermarket.

Once disassembled, the airframe and engine material will move into SETNA’s supply chain, giving operators and MRO providers access to serviceable parts for one of the industry’s most widely flown widebody platforms.

“Every aircraft we bring into the program is a chance to put quality material back into the hands of operators who need it,” said Hunter Edens, Partner & Chief Commercial Officer at SETNA. “The A330 has a long runway ahead of it in the secondary market, and this teardown puts us right in the middle of that demand.”

SETNA continues to expand its global inventory through strategic aircraft and engine acquisitions, backed by trusted partners like ecube.
