TARMAC Aerosave has signed a strategic agreement with International Aerospace Coatings (IAC), the global leader in aircraft painting. This collaboration enables TARMAC Aerosave to offer a complete solution for aircraft transition and painting services at its Teruel site.
This agreement defines the mutual collaboration between the two partners: International Aerospace Coatings will carry out the painting of aircraft at their newly built dedicated painting hangar in Teruel. TARMAC Aerosave now provides the Part 145 paint certification to IAC paint activities, and offers to carry out maintenance on IAC customers' aircraft at the Teruel site.
With this partnership, lessors and airlines customers now benefits from a comprehensive one-stop-shop service for aircraft transitions. The services includes parking, engine changes, landing gear replacements, cabin modifications, bridging checks, C-checks, and painting - all in one location.
"TARMAC Aerosave, always working with the best partners, continues to expand its capabilities to offer complete solutions to its global clients and to increase the potential of the Teruel site." said José Moliner, Teruel site Director.
Martin O’Connell, CEO of IAC, said: “International Aerospace Coatings are delighted to have established operations at Teruel airport, partnering with TARMAC Aerosave for Part 145 support. Our collaboration is proving beneficial for both parties, further strengthening Teruel’s position as an attraction location to support our customers’ requirements.
