XEOS, the state-of-the-art maintenance center for commercial engines, is ramping up operations and recruitment as the company expands its service offerings.
XEOS is a joint venture between GE Aerospace (through GE Aerospace Poland) and Lufthansa Technik. The JV was initially established to perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) for GEnx-2B and GE9X engines.
With the aviation industry emerging from the COVID crisis, in parallel, XEOS has announced it will begin servicing LEAP engines manufactured by CFM International.
“We are excited to be growing our operations, supporting MRO for LEAP customers around the globe,” said Rob Burton, XEOS site leader. “With the aviation sector reaching full recovery, we will be ready to support the ever-growing need for LEAP engine services”.
